New dad tries to figure out Target's toy aisle
Wed Dec 12, 2012
My son is 12 and my daughter is 11. I miss buying them toys. I shop down the toy and and see all the toys my kids no longer play with it. They just like video games.
Teen: Boys want an Easy-Bake Oven, too

That's fine. I bought my son a Secret Journal when he was 6 and my daughter had a Secret Journal when she was 5. It came in pink for girls and purple for boys.
For Marissa Mayer, it's God, family and Yahoo
Wed Nov 28, 2012
I still think its hard to "have it all", especially at one time. I was a stay at home mom for 10 years. My kids were in Early Intervention and my son was speech delayed and is in special education. My son would not have thrived in daycare.
Macy's urged to 'dump Trump' from ads -- or else
Wed Nov 14, 2012
Cutting up a credit card does not eliminate your account. You have to close out your account and your credit score will be lowered. As far as the ad, who cares? I don't watch tv.

I don't like applying for a job via website.
Newsweek ceasing print edition in US, going all-digital
Thu Oct 18, 2012
I hope Newsweek doesn't loose a portion of the target market. Many doctor's offices, car dealers and other business entities order subscriptions for clients waiting in the waiting rooms. I personally, cannot read material from the computer. I print it out first and then read it.
The case for raising the minimum wage
Thu Oct 18, 2012
I am against raising the minimum wage. If a person is already working, he/she needs to ask the employer for a wage increase or a raise.
